Frida is made of muslin, stuffed with fiberfill, and painted with high quality acrylics. Her head, body and limbs are independent pieces stitched together.
Her clothing was entirely hand sewn, stitched permanently to her body. Frida wears a long printed skirt in cream & red. Her black Huipil (blouse) is embroidered in red, following the traditional style from the Istmo de Tehuantepec, Oaxaca in México.
Her hair is made of needle felted wood, and permanently braided in the traditional Tehuana style. Frida is able to stand by herself. She stands 3″ tall.
Frida is signed and dated in the back.
